The Capital City AIDS Fund (CCAF) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1995 to raise money in support of HIV/AIDS services in the Sacramento area. CCAF is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors made up of community leaders including business professionals, media representatives, and government officials. Specifically, CCAF’s activities support a community fund that donates to various Sacramento area non-profit agencies that provide HIV/AIDS services.

CCAF has raised and donated over $2 million to Sacramento area HIV/AIDS service providers. Since its inception, CCAF has successfully staged many events including the Capital City AIDS Dance-O-Rama, the Boo Bash, and the high profile event Smash Hits with Elton John and Billie Jean King held in 2001 which raised over $500,000, and the community’s highest profile annual event, the Sacramento Valley AIDS Run Walk.

CCAF also organizes the annual Oscar Night® Sacramento (formerly An Evening with Oscar), one of the social events for the winter season, which is listed in Sacramento Magazine as one of 50 things to do in Sacramento.
